End of Oil Age - Part 5 (CO2 sequestration)

Fossil fuels are causing carbon emissions which contribute considerably in the global warming. Environmentalists and conversationalists are damming the oil and coal industries because of that.
They perceive the oil and coal industry as the great evil which endanger the whole planet.
There are emerging solutions to address this problem and Carbon capture and sequestration is one of these promising solutions.
Emitted CO2 can be captured and re-injected into the depleted reservoirs.
This will have two great values;
1) recovering the production from the depleted and aging reservoirs.
2) Reducing the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere and storing it in the subsurface.

Research is going on and there is huge pilot project ongoing in Australia.

Caron Capture and Storgae (CCS) is a promising industry and promising solution which could transform the oil and coal industry to be more greener and sustain the environment.
