End of Oil Age - Part 2

Oil was supposed to be a bless for the producing countries but it has shown the ugly side of the human being and the the past colonial countries of Europe and the current ones as the united states contributed in converting this bless to a curse.
It is like the curse of the gold when it has shown the greed in people.
I'm not advocate for blaming the others for the local problems or judging the history with the narratives and predefined judgements.
But no doubts that the colonial policy and the greed mentality is still alive in current time and the alliance between the corrupted or at least the undemocratic government with the western countries to secure the hydrocarbon supply is obvious demonstration of that.
There is a hidden agreement that the western countries will not disturb these corrupted governments and the undemocratic ones as long as the hydrocarbon is securely supplied.
This ugly alliance can be obviously noticed between eh Persian gulf states as it is noticed with the Caspian sea and west Africa.
Europe and the united states want to secure the hydrocarbon supply and the price is simply turn a blind eye on the corrupted government and undemocratic ones.
IT is an ugly alliance and the one who pays the price is the people.
I remember there was a resolution from UN to ban the importing of diamonds and the precious gemstones from the conflicted zones to stop funding the civil wars.
Same resolution should be expanded to the hydrocarbon as a sanction of importation of it from the totalitarian countries.
Yes, the both sides will suffer but free world will emerge and things will turn to the better on the long run and for the whole humanity.
